My story

Born and raised on The Wirral—North West England’s finest peninsula (and yes, it’s “on the” Wirral, because when you’re there, you’re on it). Trust me, saying “in the Wirral” or just "Wirral" will only earn you puzzled looks and a swift education in local geography.

My roots here have shaped my perspective, my humour, and my appreciation for the quirky nuances of life. Whether it’s the rolling landscapes, the rich history, or the bear pit in Eastham Country Park which once housed actual real-life bears, The Wirral is more than just a place—it’s a part of who I am (a plastic Scouser).

My performance journey began at WAPA—that’s right, the Wirral Academy of the Performing Arts—where I first donned one of my mother’s mahogany brown bob wigs to channel the moves and numbers of Chicago’s very own Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Not long after, I was voted to play Oliver in Oliver Twist at South Wirral High School of the Performing Arts’ Dance/Drama Showcase. To this day, I can still feel the sparkle in my toes from my jazz shoes as I glided across the stage for the final tableau, looking (and feeling) wonderfully well-fed.

High school brought even more theatrical adventures, including a residency with the renowned Frantic Assembly physical theatre company, which absolutely blew my mind and deepened my love for movement. I subsequently performed in the rite of passage that is Waiting For Godot by Samuel Beckett, finding my weird and wonderful niche on stage.

Since then, I’ve been flailing around—quite literally—making movements, creating atmospheres, and bringing stories to life with my body, face, and voice. While being an artist in this modern world has its challenges, I absolutely love what I do and plan to keep at it for the rest of my days.

Through my work, I hope to inspire others to follow their passions, no matter how rocky or uncertain the road may seem. After all, what’s life without a little creativity and courage?
